Update: The PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5 will not be released on the 15th of June this year but next year. The wrong release date in the original article is edited to the correct one. The PC version of the Grand Theft Auto 5 will be debut following the release of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions. On the 18th April, Segment Next reported that the game retailer Altex has already listed the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5 for sale on its online store. The GTA 5 release date posted by the Romanian game store is different than other game stores. According to Altex, the release date for the PC version is the 15th of March while the release date for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions is the 15th of June. This means that there are still another 18 months before the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be released. The PC version of the GTA 4 was released approximately 7 months following the release of the console versions. The release dates provided by Altex for the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox versions seemed to be different compared to other game retailers. Saturn’s manager told fans that the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions will be released in this summer. Despite that, Rockstar Games has not yet make any annoucement that they will be developing the PC verion. Rockstar Games will probably make the announcement soon. They will possibly be making the announcement in the upcoming E3 2013 event in June. Until now, they will concentrate on offering post launch customer support for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the GTA 5. They are going to release the DLC packs this spring. The High Life Update will also be launched in the multiplayer GTA 5 online this spring. Besides, they are also releasing new expansion packs this year. GTA 5 is operated on a more advanced engine so the visuals quality should be higher compared to the current console versions. GTA 5 will feature faster frame rate. The release of the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions will surely increase the sales of the GTA 5. Up to date, they have already sold over 32.5 millions copies for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.
Rockstar Games Offers New Updates on Hacking Issue and Patches for GTA 5 Online
Rockstar Games has given some new updates on the money hack problem in the GTA 5 Online. On the 27th December, one player requested them to disable the Share Money and Set Bounty features until they have fixed the money hack problem. The representative’s response is that Rockstar Games ‘ team is doing their best to fix the problem. The representative also informed the player that Rockstar will launch a few patches to prevent the money hack cheats from working.
